Childhood Bereavement Network: gives advice on help after a death – pointers for teachers. It also has publications that can be used with children and teens following a death. They have a useful book list which is split in to different age groups and settings.

The SeeSaw website is a site for people in Oxfordshire, but has useful online resource for teachers.
SAMM – supporting families bereaved by Murder and Manslaughter. They provide advice and training to many agencies on issues relevant to the traumatically bereaved. SAMM provides training for people who come into contact with those bereaved through homicide. They currently offer this training to Police Officers, Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) Barristers, Probation Officers, Schools and many other organisations.

Dove Service: Provide training across the Midlands and North West. They have courses such as: Bereavement and loss, basic counselling skills and creative intervention workshops.

The Joshua Tree: They will offer support to schools when there is the loss of a child to cancer or leukaemia. They will offer telephone support for the school, face to face counselling/play therapy for the child (at school or at their support centre) one to one support for staff, or they can attend a staff meeting. They are also gathering resources that schools may borrow to provide continued support within the school community.
Musability: Music therapy. Based in Liverpool, but able to provide services within the North West region of England and North Wales. They work in schools, centres, homes, hospitals and clinics. They work with 1:1 and with groups.
