These amazing people endured more than 13 miles of wind, hail and rain, to raise money for Elsie Ever After. I was there to see them complete it and was blown away by the perseverance, determination and strength of these wonderful people. All I could do was to shout encouragement from the side lines – but what they have done is raise an amazing amount of money for ‘Reflect’, the bereavement service for children in West Cheshire.

The individuals who took place and who are ALL our Stars of the Month are: Brodie Lyons (Elsie’s daddy), Darren Gerrish (Elsie’s Godfather), Matty Boyden, Helen and John Plant, Jo Lees and Tim Hanson. Between them, they have raised over £945!  Some of them had never done any sort of running before taking on this challenge, so I can’t tell you how proud I am of all of them for overcoming their own challenges and making it over the finishing line. Florence and I presented the award to an inspirational lady, Helen Plant, who received the award on behalf of all the runners.
